Pregnancy is a stage in a woman’s life that can open the door to many ailments and conditions and heartburn is just one of the other conditions and ailments that may plague a woman during pregnancy. Avoid wearing tight clothes; these can cause extra pressure to the stomach and make you more uncomfortable. Avoid eating too much at one time and consider eating more small meals throughout the day to prevent heartburn. A full stomach with the baby pushing on it is more prone to acid reflux due to the pressure exerted on it.

Even though you are pregnant for only nine months, you may find you suffer from the condition for a while after too. You can wait, but you can also use a natural treatment with safety and enjoy your pregnancy rather than just having to grin and bear it.
